Historic Batesville

Located in the Central Ozarks, Batesville is the largest town within a broad radius. It offers visitors many restaurants, shopping centers, banks, regional hospital and outpatient clinics, and of course, a Walmart Supercenter. Batesville is also home to two top-notch institutions of higher learning, Lyon College and University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB), both of which sponsor concerts, plays and other cultural events throughout the year. Lyon College’s Scottish Festival in the spring is a statewide favorite as well as the White River Water Carnival in the fall and White River Wonderland during the Christmas season. And don’t miss Downtown Batesville, where Main Street showcases restored historic homes and the Old Independence County Regional Museum.

Batesville Motor Speedway

The excitement of the Batesville Motor Speedway is just four miles away. Featuring the COMP Cams Topless 100, the dirt race track at Batesville has a range of seating options, including stadium seats, family sections and lawn-chair seating. Races are held weekly April through September on Friday nights.
